New shoes!

Have you heard of Irregular choice shoes? Well I love them, I adore them.....I covet them, and the pair I am currently coveting is called 'A night under the star's' wonderful! It evokes images of dancing and laughing and simply being, I love them and want to bring the new year in boogying in my very own pair of 'A night under the star's' yes I even say it in a dreamy voice! I own a sublime pair of 'Trinklatina' Irregular choice and can barely walk in them, I wore them for my 40th birthday, they were a fabulous gift from my friend in the uk, but I couldn't feel my toes for 4 day's after....yes that's right 4! I should add I have chronic arthritus so most shoes hurt a little bit...well the one's that aren't orthapaedic!!! But in my head all I can think is...'well I can't damage my feet'!!!! Selfish I know, but, my dilema is JAMES he thinks I am being completely inpractical and selfish...well he might have to do everything himself when I can't walk! So....what do you think, is 4 days of not altogether unpleasant numbness really so bad? Or am I a completely selfish individual who just wants to wear gorgous, but inpractical shoes now and again? And....AND...should we always buy shoes that we will wear at least 3 times a week????? If you or someone you know love love love's shoes then look these up http://www.irregularchoice.com/ you won't be dissapointed! ENJOY YOUR SHOES!

Day 3 school hol's James' demise!

I take pretty much everything in my stride....not alot gets under my skin, apart from the usual bullying, fascism, racsism, run of the mill! Anyway I am here on school holidays all going well, 2 children arrive to add to my 3 making 5, so far so good, then 1 of mine leaves so down to 4, perfect even number 2 in the bedroom 2 down to the park, when lunch time rolls around, pies, corn on the cob and peas followed by fruit (we still need our 5 a day even in school holidays!) All children present and correct sitting with eager anticipation for the dvd that I had promised they could watch in front of the tv with lunch (a rare treat) only to find James (my incompetant husband of 13 and a half years...the half is very important) has returned said dvd to the shop on his way to work.....I thought I'd help you out a bit.....doing the washing is helping out.....making dinner for a change is helping out.....de fleaing or delousing cat's/kids is helping out RETURNING THE DVD I NEEDED....... not helpful....words ensued and now kids are watching disney channel..... calm restored to children.....I need a valium as 'well what do you want me to do about it, I'm over an hour away' is still ringing in my ears!!!!
